Shield mode

A one-click portfolio hedge that buys protective puts sized to your wallet.

1 minUpdated

Shield mode is a one-click hedge for the tokenized stocks you hold. It buys protective puts sized to your wallet, so a sharp fall is cushioned by puts that gain value as prices drop.

Payoff at expiry of a bought put. The cost is the premium; the protection grows below the strike.
Bought put

What it does

  • Reads the tokenized stocks in your wallet.
  • Buys puts sized to those holdings.
  • Your maximum cost is the premium you pay, known up front.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't sell your shares.
  • It doesn't borrow, so it can't be liquidated.
  • It doesn't make a loss impossible: puts cost premium, and protection only applies below the strike.
